Current Rates
- Standard rate €270 per night for the entire Riad for up to 4 people
- Additional guests: €20 per person, per night
- Extended stay and returning guests discount: Special rates available for week-long bookings and returning guests
Tourist Tax: A tourist tax of 28 MAD per person per night (under 12s exempt) is required by the Moroccan government and will be collected by Aziza during your stay.
Transportation
Arrival Made Effortless
We’re happy to arrange airport transfers for a smooth and stress-free arrival.
Our trusted driver will meet you at Marrakech Menara Airport and escort you directly to the riad. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes.
- Airport pick-up:
- 7AM – 10AM: 250 MAD
- 10AM – 6PM: 200 MAD
- 6PM – MIDNIGHT: 300 MAD
- Return journey to airport:
- 6AM – 9AM: 250 MAD
- 9AM – 7PM: 150 MAD
- 7PM ONWARDS: 200 MAD
Your driver will wait just outside the main arrivals hall, typically on the left side near the “Club Med” sign, holding a sign with “JOHN SHIELD.” Please allow for slight delays due to parking.
If you’re unable to access local currency on arrival, Aziza can cover the fare and you’re welcome to reimburse her later. ATMs are widely available in the Medina, including a newly installed machine at Bab Taghzout, just a short walk from the riad.
Before You Arrive
Please contact us upon boarding your flight to Marrakech, especially in the case of any delays, so we can inform your driver and avoid confusion.
Due to increased tourism, customs delays can occur, especially during peak travel times. Families with young children may use the left-side customs channel to help avoid queues. For added ease, a Fast Track Concierge service is also available to book online (additional charge applies).

SIM cards and currency exchange desks are located near the luggage carousels inside the airport.
Upon arrival at the riad, Aziza will register your visit with the local authorities and assist in completing the required online form using your passport details.
A Word of Advice
We recommend avoiding unofficial taxis or transportation offers at the airport. Most drivers are unfamiliar with specific addresses within the Medina, which operates largely by landmarks rather than street names. Your experience will be far smoother using our arranged service. Other taxis do not know the address or do not wish to navigate the narrow streets of the Medina.

We may request a copy of guest passports and proof of address prior to confirming the reservation, as part of standard verification procedures.
